Ingredients
- 1 oz Brandy (1 pint)
- 1 oz Rum (1/2 pint)
- 1 oz Madeira (1/2 pint)
- 1 Egg (12)
- 1 ts Sugar (2 cups)
- 3/4 c Milk (3 pints) -OR-
- 2 oz Heavy cream (3 pints)
- Nutmeg
Directions
Shake with ice, and strain into a collins glass or a highball glass. If heavy cream is used, you may want to top the drink with milk. Can’t say I’ve tried it myself; I only bring back Cockspur VSOR and I’m not about to cut it with sherry. As for amounts, I mostly saw 12 oz bottles of rum in the non-tourist stores and would use that as a starting point: Remove stems from the peppers and place in a bottle, then cover with rum and leave for two weeks. - 1 cn (14-oz) Eagle sweetened
- -Condensed milk
- 1 2/3 c Irish Whiskey
- 1 ts Instant coffee
- 2 tb Hershey’s chocolate syrup
- 1 ts Vanilla
- 1 ts Almond extract
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a blender set on high speed for 30 seconds. Bottle in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate. The liqueur will keep for at least 2 months if kept cool. Be sure to shake the bottle well before serving. Makes 4 cups. - 3 oz Milk
- 1 1/2 oz Chocolate or vanilla syrup
- 6 oz Bottle seltzer water or club
- -soda
Directions
In a soda glass, stir together the Bailey’s, milk, and syrup until well blended. Add the seltzer water all at once, which will produce 2-inch foamy head. Serve immediately. Makes 1 serving.
